One of my son, Kevin's, closest friends passed away during Covid. He was truly one super great kid and he's missed so deeply by everyone who knew him. Kevin and some other friends got together and finished Matt's truck for his parents. He asked me to engrave the chrome glove box cover. I've never been so nervous doing an engraving, but it came out beautifully!! So pleased to have been a small part of this sweet project 🧡🖤

For those who don't know and might be interested, there is a fantastic new makerspace at WCCC called MADE at Westmoreland. They have amazing equipment there and I am learning to do allllll kind of things!! Today, for instance, I learned to weld (yep, me!!) and use the metal cutting fiber laser! I've learned sewing and embroidering by machine, metal engraving, how to make dtf transfers (for clothing and other stuff), used the giant vinyl cutter they have, and (of course) I will be certified on their CO2 laser as soon as it's ready! They have future plans for pottery throwing, there are 3D printers galore, and a robotics lab! And lots of woodshop stuff too. You really should go check it out!!
