When I found this 1920s printer tray, I knew I wanted to do something fun with it. I had been collecting shells for a while and had a good selection to choose from, so I got to work!

First I had to take the original rails off the tray. (Sorry to my boyfriend, who stubbed his toe on one of the rails when I left the tray on the floor overnight😳) Then I started carefully choosing and placing shells, one at a time. After weeks of agonizing over which shells go where, I finally finished filling each space.

Once finished, it was time to bring the printer tray to the shop! The morning I brought it in, a lady from Georgetown, SC happened to stop in the shop and spotted the tray at the front. It was only there for 10 minutes before she spotted it, and before I could place it in my booth, it was purchased and on its way to a new home in Georgetown! Thank you to the sweet lady who purchased it, I’m so happy it went to a good home! 🐚

More shell art coming soon…

Beautiful vintage hand painted Japanese porcelain!

I think these were originally used as salt cellars (though I could be mistaken - any Japanese porcelain experts out there? Let me know your thoughts!) but I think they would make great little ring dishes! One sold, one available at šŸ’

This little guy has seemingly made a home on my birdcage outside the shop! We filled the birdcage with plants and a small dish of water for him to cool off (thanks to for the suggestion!) It’s been a few days and he’s still here, so I’m officially taking name suggestions. Comment your name suggestion below!

On another note, the birdcage is for sale and would make an adorable terrarium for your houseplants!

Japanese shell ship SOLD! But these beautiful wooden boxes are some of my favorite finds from our recent sourcing trip.

I’m rarely able to find them but when I do, I love the fact they’re beautiful and functional. Drop one by the front door for an easy place to hide keys, wallets, coins and any other things that normally end up in the junk drawer! Or place one in the living room for the remote and other tech accessories to hide. Endless possibilities!

Now available at ✨

I loved this beautiful old hand painted tole tray the minute I saw it. It’s worn, it’s old, it’s chippy, and I absolutely love it! There’s something about the yellow structure and figures contrasting against the chippy black background that’s perfect. This would be the tray to build an entire plate wall around in a moody dining room…

On our way back to Charleston, we couldn’t help ourselves… we made one more stop and rearranged our car (again) to fit in a few more finds šŸ˜…

This time we stopped at which is supposedly the largest antique mall in the country, and let me say it absolutely lived up to the hype. This place was HUGE. I got lost once and ended up in a massive warehouse full of stacked furniture. It’s like every thrifters dream. Plus they had a cafe (yes, a full sit-down type cafe) INSIDE the mall with delicious chicken salad wraps and the sweet tea was perfect. It felt good to finally be back in the South šŸ˜‚

We’re home now and (mostly) unpacked! New booth treasures coming soon… ✨
