Hey there!

I am Maricel; wife, mother, daughter, sister, and a makeup artist. I want to introduce myself for those of you who are considering me as your future makeup artist and friend. 😄

I am passionate about skincare, makeup, and fashion. My interest in current beauty trends, knowledge on relevant brands, celebrities, and makeup artists are evident in my own presentation.

A quick history:

Becoming a makeup artist never crossed my mind—it all started as a hobby. I loved collecting makeup and watching makeup videos, and then I would practice on myself, my mother, my sisters, my daughter, and my friends. I would volunteer when there was a photoshoot-for-a-cause that was organised by the photography community in Cebu, Philippines.

I took makeup classes, seminars, and workshops. People liked my work and trusted me. I got referrals and started to accept clients (and they often come back!☺️), so it became my profession. I enjoyed doing it, especially when I’d see my clients happy and feeling confident after having their makeup done.❤️

As a working makeup artist, I take pride in my skills and will continue to learn, grow, and update myself. I try to listen carefully to my clients’ needs and concerns, while maintaining an open and positive attitude. I value my clients as friends, not just as customers. I work hard, always give my best, and am often told I have a gentle and relaxing touch. 🥰 Even if I say it will just be a “simple look,” I still make it look “extra glam.” 😄
