Today marks 3 weeks since my surgery, and needless to say, I'm sick of getting all my sustenance from a tube and clear liquid diet. So I messaged my team and got the go ahead to try "soft foods" so today, I had something I've been eyeballing in the cabinet since I got home.
Best. Mashed. Potatoes. Ever.

(Possibly because its the first real food I've had for 21 days, lol, but still amazing)

This has all been awful, and I still haven't gotten results back from the lymph nodes yet, but I'm gonna celebrate this little win. Might have a milkshake later. Or maybe a frosty? Who knows? Either way, I'm thankful and happy to be healing at the rate I am.
