I made myself a Lil sumthin

Sterling silver and breastmilk

I use a specific and proprietaty blend of materials to preserve and dehydrate breastmilk that helps to maintain color. It isn't as easy as drying it out and putting it in resin - with organic inclusions, they're are always considerations when it comes to maintaining color and reducing the potential for rot, mold and yellowing over time.

Thinking about offering small batch, custom items seasonally. Any thoughts on this? Like opening the opportunity to purchase a custom keepsake piece, keeping it small batch, less than ten customers. Whatcha think?

Preserving flowers is a really meditative process for me. I'm so looking forward to spring to collect, press and dry wildflowers and stuff from our yard to put in pieces 😍

How it begin - preserving like fresh in starts DAYS before I even look at the mold they go in. I have to try to suspend the flower in time by drying it in a way that preserves its appearance. You CAN over dry flowers, which makes them "explode". 2 days is the minimum. Thes...
