I have closed the Mt. Washington location. Currently I have a booth at the Awesome Flea Market, just south of Shepherdsville off I-65. We are on the aisle nearest the bathrooms. Wreaths, floral arrangements, ribbon and paintings are available. This is inventory close out!!! Since prices are all marked down we are moving all seasonal items. I have medical issues currently but my son and daughter-in-law are manning the booth. I hope to return by end of April for the final closing. It has been great at the Flea Market with lots of friends and shops to wander. There will be farm fresh produce as the crops come in and always something new and interesting to enjoy. A small restaurant with good food is available as well. Weather permitting the outside sales area is full of great deals and treasures to view. There is even a lazy river tube area when warm weather jumps in. The clean and fun shopping is available and I will return to share as soon as hubby gives me car keys back. Come in and see the new things and share smiles and good times.

A wonderful experience at Wight-Meyer winery. A small crafting party here was such fun. We made pumpkin wreaths, talked to Charlie, then we tasted some wines from here. It was truly great. I can recommend this winery, they have music nights, beautiful wine gardens and a lovely tasting area.
I spent some years living in Napa Valley, California, while David was in the Navy. I can say this little winery offers much to share the atmosphere, the wines and gracious people who are knowledgeable and very kind.
Their wines cover a good range of tastes. They have many awards and I plan to return. Check them out, spent an afternoon and enjoy truly great wines.

This is fall wreath we will be making at Wright-Meyer winery 10/3 from 1-4. All supplies are provided and we will be making bows for these wreaths as well. I have a small surprise with this wreath. The shop is closed. Anything's Paint-Able is not there anymore. I have put much of my fabric collection on sale. NOTHING IS AT THE SHOP. A dear friend has allowed me her quilting studio on April 11. 12. 13 from 10am till 5pm to sell quilting fabric. There are MANY fabrics. Also notions, zippers, velcro, bias binding and thread. I could never use these fabrics up, so passing them to let others enjoy the collection. Address is 8800 Dawson Hill Rd, Louisville. My phone is 502-262-1708. We have very good prices, on yardage, panels, Christmas, Easter, patriotic and much to see. Pictures coming as quickly as I can. We can use paypal for credit cards. Checks, or cash. To all the beginning and beyond crocheters knitters and such. Plans will continue to offer classes to help learn, review and create things. Right now I'm slowing down a bit. If help is needed,, please call and i can meet with you.. Thru March I'll be in shop as per normal hours. Getting things out and putting things in. Then plans are in the works for exciting things, fitting the time of year. Be surprised!!

Don't give up on learning to crochet or knit. We will continue this, it is so important to keep learning. I promise it can be fun. More yarn coming as I am able to dig out garage. Bigger shovel would help.

I'll try to keep sending things, it will take a bit of time to gather, but I'm working.

Today is the last official day of Anything's Paint-Able. I have beautiful silk flowers and greenery left. Starting 3/15 things are changing. Please allow a bit of time to reset, stock and redesign the shop. A new name, new ideas. We'll have supplies for crafts, sewing, quilting. Derby fascinators and gifts planned.

Of course, learning and sharing will be a big part of my goals. First, I'm taking some time to rest, regain and reinvent my purpose. Watch for Char's on Facebook to learn more.

Absolutely I owe thanks to everyone who came in, shared and join me with this endeavor. Be assured I've got some ideas in my pocket.

Spring is always time for new! Even if Mother Nature is teasing us with cold, plans are coming. As I always say, stay safe, big hugs and contact me to enjoy the ideas being created at Char's.
