There is nothing quite like a morning site visit at . The air, the light, the architecture — it never gets old.

Memorial Day weekend is here and while most people are visiting for the holiday, we’re lucky enough to call it our office for the day. We’ve had the privilege of designing several homes along this stretch of coastline and we are always looking for the next one.

If you’ve ever dreamed of a beach home that feels as beautiful on the inside as the view outside, give us a call. We strive to create homes to be lived in and not just admired from afar.

The older I become, the more I realize entertaining isn’t about perfection — it’s about creating an atmosphere where people feel welcomed, comfortable, and celebrated.

As I prepare our home to celebrate my nephew’s engagement, I’m reminded to celebrate the good things in life that truly matter.

Planting summer flowers, pressing linens, tidying our home… all of these details may never be noticed individually, but together, I hope they create a feeling people remember long after the party is over.

Who loves a good Before and After? This children’s den in this stunning renovation made quite a transformation.

We reimagined every inch of this home to create spaces that are elevated, functional, and truly livable for a family who loves the beach lifestyle. This room was designed specifically with real life in mind — sandy feet, wet bathing suits, movie nights, lounging after long beach days, and everything in between.

The entire space was layered with high-performance indoor/outdoor fabrics so it can handle the wear of coastal living while still feeling refined, relaxed, and effortlessly chic. Durable enough for kids, beautiful enough for guests.

Our goal throughout the renovation was to blend comfort, practicality, and timeless coastal design — creating a home that feels as good as it looks. To see more of this home, pick up a copy of our new coffee table book, “The Elegance And Comfort Of Home”.

None of us are guaranteed perfect health, but I’ve learned that being intentional with my mind, body & soul helps me live with more gratitude every single day.

I am not always perfect with these 10 things I regularly do to prioritize my health — especially with traveling so much lately- but I do try to be as consistent as possible.

I would love to hear from you, too… what’s one habit that’s made the biggest difference in your health or mindset lately? Share below so we can all learn from one other.

Good design isn’t about trends; it’s about creating something that still feels beautiful many years later (10 years in this particular case).

Custom, quarter sawn, oak cabinetry in warm tones, heated marble floors for cold winter days, unlacquered brass that ages gracefully, and a soaking tub perfectly framed by a bay window are a few of the details chosen to feel unpretentious yet pampered. It’s the kind of room that doesn’t seek attention but always leaves an impression.

As May rolls in and summer break is around the corner, we can’t help but dream of slow mornings, sandy feet, and time spent at the beach. This beautiful home in was renovated a few years ago with exactly that feeling in mind — relaxed, refined, and a quiet backdrop to make memories with friends and family.

One of our favorite design moments is the large upholstered screen wall anchoring the main living space. By curating art and integrating the TV seamlessly into the design, we were able to define the family room and casual dining area while creating a true “room within a room” feeling. It’s approachable, grounded, and inviting without sacrificing the open flow of the home.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there today. This post is for the ones who are blessed to be moms, the ones hoping and praying to become mothers, and the ones like me who are missing their own mom. Even after all this time, there are moments when I still wish I could hear her voice, ask her advice, or just sit and talk with her one more time. I truly don’t think we ever stop needing our mothers, no matter how old we are.

At the same time, I’m so incredibly grateful to be a mom to my three girls. They’ve filled my life with more love, laughter, joy, lessons, memories, and yes… even a few gray hairs along the way. Being their mom has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

So today, I’m holding space for all of it — the gratitude, the love, the memories, the joy, and the missing.

I am still smiling after a fun few days at High Point Market.

I had the pleasure of moderating a thoughtful conversation on designing collections with staying power featuring of , .kravet of , and Alex Marin of - along with - who has beautiful collections with each of them. Hearing the stories and inspiration behind these enduring partnerships was such a fun conversation.

The following day, I was back at Hickory Chair for a book signing where I had the opportunity to connect with so many amazing people throughout the market. It reminded me how blessed I am to do what I love and to be meet such wonderful people along the way.
