She will be back in Novemeber to do a class on taking care of house plants so you can make yours look like this.

She also has a secret for getting her Pink Polly Alocasia to yield a huge amount of pink in its leaves. Stay tuned!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Bonsai event this past weekend. We had a packed house!

Floral Focus was awarded the Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator (CEA) program grant from the armature and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Carl Achhammer Jr. from Zenchaser Bonsai taught students the history of Bonsai. He also showed students how to Bonsai a Jade Plant that each student shaped and took home.

Floral Focus used the grant to pay for half the cost of each student’s class to promote arts in the community. Thank you to some of our students who allowed us to post a picture of them with their Bonsai Trees.

For today’s wedding, we had 5 bridesmaid bouquets, 9 boutonierres, 5 corsages, and a bridal bouquet.

The lovely bride requested special white dahlias in her bouquet, along with light blue delphinium and white roses. The dahlias were locally and specially grown by 138 Blooms and Mossworks.
The bride’s grandfather used to grow dahlias in his yard.
