On April 7th, I decided to dissolve my floral business.

On April 8th, my baby girl came unexpectedly.

Needless to say, God’s timing is perfect and in the ebbs and flow of motherhood, I’m learning day by day to savor every moment of it.

Bittersweet to officially announce, Floret Beginnings will no longer be booking weddings.
(However is available for freelance in the SoCal Area)

A HUGE thank you to everyone —my family, past clients, vendors, friends, & the amazing flower community, your support and encouragement in these past 2 years truly means everything to me 💕

And of course, the biggest thank you to my husband for being my #1 supporter since day 1. You carried all those flower buckets (and me) more times than I can count.

Feeling a different kind of 22.

A post that’s much overdue—A recap of the past 22 weeks:

-My husband and I closed escrow late July and started slowly moving into our new home in Anaheim
-Found out we were pregnant in August (a very much unexpected surprise!)
-Spent my 1st to part of 2nd trimester working through all the pregnancy symptoms while trying to finish strong for the remaining 9 weddings I had for the year
-Started getting sciatica pains that endured for 3 long months
-Finished my last (and biggest wedding ever!) in October. Over 500+ guests!
-Said goodbye to our friends & family and rented a massive Uhaul truck and drove down one final time with a group of friends in the first weekend of November
-Got offered a part time job in December as an Early Interventionist (back to working with the special needs community after a 3 year hiatus!)

With all these new changes and life transitions happening all at once, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with mixed emotions, and yet thankful and comforted at the same time knowing that God is good and has bigger and better plans for me than I could ever hope for myself.

With that said, Floret Beginnings will be resuming weddings starting October 2023. Thank you ALL for your patience and continuous support thus far!

What an exciting yet bittersweet feeling as I wrap up my life and wedding season here in NorCal.

Praying for the strength to finish strong 🙏 and the reminder to be present and soak these moments in.
