With a heavy heart, I want to share something deeply personal with everyone who has supported us. After a lot of thought, tears, and reflection, I have decided that I will be stepping away from The Enchanted Loaf and ending my part in the collaboration. Moving forward, I’ll be focusing solely on my own business, Silver Styx Alcove, where I’ll be pouring my heart into sewing, handmade creations, and custom Cricut designs.

This decision has not been easy in any way. It comes from personal reasons that I need to honor in this season of my life, and from listening to where my heart is truly leading me. Sometimes growth means making hard choices, even when they hurt. Sometimes choosing peace means letting go of something you once loved deeply.

Please know this was not made lightly. So much love, time, effort, passion, and hope was poured into The Enchanted Loaf. There were early mornings, late nights, messy kitchens, flour-covered counters, big dreams, learning curves, laughter, stress, excitement, and so many moments I will never forget. It was more than just bread or baked goods—it was a chapter of my life that meant something real to me.

I do want everyone to know that The Enchanted Loaf is not going anywhere. It will still be up and running with Angela Soper continuing the business on her own. She has worked hard, cared deeply, and put so much into it. I truly hope you continue to support her and cheer her on as she carries The Enchanted Loaf forward.

I am going to miss the baking, the creativity, the joy of making something with my hands, and the excitement of sharing it with all of you. I’ll miss hearing your kind words, seeing your orders come in, stocking the shelves, dreaming up new ideas, and watching people enjoy what we created. I’ll miss the little moments the most.

To every person who bought from us, liked a post, shared our page, told a friend, left a sweet comment, or simply believed in us—thank you. Thank you for supporting two women with a dream. Thank you for showing up for us. Thank you for making this journey meaningful. Thank you for every ounce of kindness you gave so freely.

I’m also sorry to anyone who feels sad or disappointed by this news. Please know it was never my intention to let anyone down. Life sometimes asks us to choose a different path than the one we expected, and that is what I am doing now.

While this chapter is closing for me, another one is opening. Silver Styx Alcove is where my creativity is calling me now, and I’m excited to fully dedicate myself to my sewing, handmade goods, and custom designs. There is still so much beauty ahead, and I hope you’ll continue to follow along and support me there too.

This is not goodbye to creating. It is not goodbye to passion. It is simply goodbye to one season, and hello to another.

🌲✨ Big things are coming to North Idaho! ✨🌲

I am so excited to finally share that Silver Styx Alcove and The Enchanted Loaf (collaborating with Witchy Creations) will be inside North Idaho Unique Creations in Wallace, Idaho 🤍

This has been such a dream in the making, and I cannot wait to bring both my sewing and sourdough creations to life in one space 🧵🍞✨

🍞 What I’ll have ready for Wednesday:
• 2 sourdough boules
• 4 sandwich loaves
• 12 mini loaves
• 2 medium loaves

Everything is made from scratch with love—simple, cozy, and full of that homemade goodness 🤍

✨ New Handmade Set ✨

This apron started its life as a dress… and now it gets to tell a whole new story. I carefully deconstructed the original piece and transformed it into a beautiful, one-of-a-kind apron that’s both functional and full of charm.

And of course… I couldn’t stop there 💛

With the same fabric, I created a matching small pouch so nothing would go to waste. I love when pieces coordinate — it just makes everything feel a little extra special and thoughtfully made.

The apron is perfect for baking days, cooking dinners, gardening, crafting, or just looking cute while getting things done. The matching pouch is great for recipe cards, utensils, makeup, cash, or all those tiny essentials that deserve their own spot.

And here’s the best part — I have more of this fabric available, so I can make additional aprons and pouches while it lasts! Each one will still be handmade with care, but no two will be exactly alike.

Okay y’all… I KNOW I’ve posted this bag a million times 🙈 but listen… she’s not just cute — she’s CAPABLE.

This isn’t just a makeup bag. This is a “throw all the things in and go” kind of bag. It holds the big, bulky stuff without complaining. Full-size products, chunky brushes, tech cords, snacks, baby items, craft supplies — whatever stage of life you’re in, this bag said, “I got it.” And it still zips up smoothly like it’s no big deal.

It’s roomy without looking huge, sturdy without feeling heavy, and cute enough that I’m clearly not done posting it yet 😂

✨ Behind the Seams: How I Make My Handmade Makeup Pouches ✨

Ever wonder what goes into creating one of my makeup pouches? Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look from my sewing room 🧵💕

1️⃣ Choosing the Fabric
I carefully select quality fabrics that are both beautiful and durable. Every print is handpicked with intention.

2️⃣ Measuring & Cutting
Each piece is measured and cut by hand to ensure the perfect size and clean structure.

3️⃣ Adding Structure
I apply interfacing to give the pouch stability so it keeps its shape and holds up to everyday use.

4️⃣ Installing the Zipper
The zipper is carefully sewn in for smooth opening and durability (this step takes patience and precision!).

5️⃣ Sewing It All Together
I stitch everything together, reinforcing seams so your pouch lasts.

6️⃣ Turning & Finishing
After turning it right-side out, I shape the corners, press it, and do final quality checks to make sure it’s perfect.

7️⃣ Final Touches
Every pouch gets a careful inspection before it’s ready for its new home.

Handmade isn’t just “made.”
It’s measured, stitched, reinforced, and created with care from start to finish. 🤍
