My garden hydrangeas cut and displayed in some of my favorite big girl drink vases. If anyone knows me well, they know that Coffee is not my only drink motivation. I love a good Gin and and good tequila too 😂

This morning I had to take some snap shots of the absolutely stunning Queen Anne’s Lace that is just thriving around our property. I also took a pic of the Redheaded grass that is now blooming as well. I love when nature gets dirty and creates 🌳

These are a few of my favorite things for my Backporch Happy Hour. This hanging basket with Nasturtiums is my absolute favorite plant of the year. I purchased it from the local Flower Fair at Minnietrista. I now wish I had purchased two of these beauties. I was told the Amish created them for the sale. I just might have to head to Williamsburg IN to the Amish Farm and see if they have anymore.

I don’t know about you, but porch time makes me feel like I am camping, which is a happy place for me and holds wonderful childhood memories as well. But, I never get to camp anymore so I decided I will turn my backyard into a campground 😂

This morning I had a baby doe visit me, I did not see the momma, which concerned me. She has appeared two mornings in a row now.

Getting dirty and creating for me comes easily in the early spring & summertime. I finally have some time to work on my back porch for morning & evening coffee & wine-down happy hours. 😂 I am currently working on getting all my lavender and pumpkin gardens going. This is a new endeavor for me given the size of the yard. I am sure I will make many mistakes, but I am excited to learn and grow all the purple and orange babies for crafts and fall displays. Pumpkins and I are kin but, lavender is a little tricky given that it is a Mediterranean plant. So, growing it in the Midwest comes with many hacks from experienced zone 5 growers. If you noticed my whiteish wicker chair, I just found it left out at the end of a drive, just waiting for a picker like me to sn**ch it up. I think it is a nice addition to the porch next to my hippie swing.

Morning happy hour is winding down and I must get busy so I can enjoy the evening porch time happy hour 😂 I plan on getting me some more of those 3 hour fire logs I love so much. They are perfect if you don’t want to mess with all the wood. See you around Wine-thirty time 🍷 🔥

This is where I like to go for plants and herbs…. I got her hanging tomato baskets last year and Loved Them. They are definitely on my list for this summer. I do have big plans for the backyard this year. This is phase two of a hundred 😂
