My son’s 8th grade trip I helped chaperone sparked an interest in me to find out the ship my Pa Theron was on during WWII, USS Nassau CVE-16. While still on the trip I found a photo on eBay of his ship and bought it. Now it is styled on my library shelves. 💙⚓️
