I haven’t decided on the sentiment for this one yet, but I wanted to show you that you can use many things for a “stop” on your easel card. I had these small flower jewels in my stash. I like that it doesn’t add too much bulk to your card!!

So very excited to have the Tim Holtz Distress Mini Ink Pads available! These ink pads pack the same punch as the standard size but uses a smaller area for storage!
Distress inks are so very versatile as they can be used for water coloring, stamping, layering colors, and I could go on and on!
Today’s cards will show two ways that I use the ink pads.
The first card I used the inks as a watercolor for the flowers as well as using the pads as a background wash….This was a fun way to bring Spring into my mind while it’s in the 30’s outside!! Remember when using water, you want to use a water-resistant ink such as Staz-on.
On the second card I enjoyed using the vibrant colors that these inks bring! This card is such a fun throw back using a stamp set I received as a bonus from a magazine I purchased over the weekend. I love old Volkswagon Bug Busses and although I have never seen a two-toned paint job, I can use my “artistic license” with these inks!
