It all started with the table, which reminded me of my grandma's old phone table. Then I came across this chair and the mirror, and suddenly I was painting up a storm and reminiscing of grandma's house. The phone, which is not for sale, was her actual phone - otherwise, I might have been tempted to paint that too! Instead, I painted the old phone on canvas in homage to grandma's house. The tree painting is also a nod to grandma. Summer nights were spent on her front porch watching the sunset while enjoying grandma's favorite - saltine crackers and vanilla ice cream. Not surprisingly, the whole set-up is called "Memories of Grandma".
