He needs no introduction, but in case you’re new here please meet John Murphy, part of our sales team! John grew up in upstate New York with his 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and his mom & dad. In 1975, he came to Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee School of Architecture, later moving to Murfreesboro for the Historic Preservation Program. In 1994, John and Jane Jones were at a party together, they talked a while which led to Mary Ann offering him a job in November 1994. John has been here ever since! He spends his time working with his church and Oaklands Mansion and working on his house. His favorites include: Blue & White porcelain, Matouk towels, Hagerty Silver Foam, Le Blanc linen wash, William Yeoward Crystal, embossed graphics & the Nest Grapefruit Candle ✨
