✨️A Makeover With a Little Extra Meaning… 🤍

Sometimes, a furniture find is about more than just the furniture. ❤️

We recently purchased several pieces from the estate of a woman who was transitioning into memory care. The proceeds from the sale were going toward helping cover her care costs, and this one hit a little closer to home for us. As many of you know, we care for my mom, who has Alzheimer's, so we understand just how personal and emotional this journey can be for a family. ❤️

Now, let’s talk about this beauty! 😍

We picked up TWO of these lingerie chests, and Mr. Possibilities worked his magic on them with a fresh coat of Sherwin-Williams White Duck. The soft, warm white gives them a clean, timeless look that fits right in with a relaxed coastal home. Add those gorgeous gold pulls and all that pretty trim, and you've got a piece that's both elegant and practical!

Six drawers of storage, a beautiful tall silhouette, and a fresh new look. What's not to love?

Around here, we believe furniture deserves a second chance, and sometimes the stories behind the pieces make them even more special. This one was a reminder that what we do is about more than paint and furniture. It's about people, too. 🤍

Now tell us… are you a fan of warm whites like White Duck, or do you prefer a crisp, bright white? 👇

✨ THE FINAL REVEAL IS HERE! ✨

Oh, this one tested Mr. Possibilities! 😂

I brought home a vintage dresser with SO much charm… and SO many problems. Let’s just say Mr. Possibilities had his work cut out for him on this one!

There was structural repair, filling, sanding, painting, and even new drawer pulls and keyhole hardware. This was definitely NOT one of those quick little makeovers we sometimes hope for! 🤦‍♀️

But look at her now! 😍

That beautiful vintage character, those gorgeous carved drawer details, and the prettiest soft coastal blue-green finish. We used Sherwin-Williams Rainwashed, and I think it was the perfect choice for this piece.

After all the repairs and work that went into bringing her back to life, seeing it all come together makes it worth it.

Of course, I knew Mr. Possibilities could handle it… even if he might have questioned my judgment a time or two along the way! 🤣

What do you think of her transformation? 💚

Some projects are quick flips. This one… not so much. 😂

Pepto-Bismol pink, layers of old paint, plenty of repairs and a whole lot of patience later, this poor piece is finally getting its turn.

And of course, I’m the one who brought it home. 😂

Apparently, I don’t bring Mr. Possibilities the easy projects… but he always sees the Possibilities. ❤️

Well, look who got a day off! 😂

Every once in a while, Mr. Possibilities gets a break from sanding, repairing, painting and generally wondering what piece of furniture I’m going to drag home next. 😂

This time, he got to do one of his OTHER very important jobs… finding the good stuff! 😉

And boy, did he come through!

We found this Pier 1 rustic dresser and matching nightstands, and honestly… this one didn’t need us to rescue it. It was already beautiful just the way it is!

The warm wood, rustic character, chunky construction and those fun black iron pulls give this set SO much personality. And can we talk about all those drawers? Because I’m pretty sure you can never have too much storage! 🙌

Dresser + 2 matching nightstands — AVAILABLE FOR SALE!

Sometimes the best finds are the ones where Mr. Possibilities gets to bring something home and say,
“Look what I found!”
instead of me saying,
“Look what I found for you to fix!” 😂😂

I’d say he earned himself that day off. ❤️

If this set is calling your name, send us a message! Local pickup in the Flamingo Porch

Maybe the furniture shouldn’t get to have all the fun! 😂

Today is Hardware Makeover Day around here! ✨

Mr. Possibilities is giving this old hardware a little glow-up with a fresh coat of gold. Because sometimes it’s the little details that make the biggest difference!

And honestly… who says the furniture gets to be the only thing getting a makeover? 😉

Are you a fan of updated hardware, or do you prefer to keep the original look?

✨ THE REVEAL IS HERE! Ginny’s Custom Makeover! ✨

Well, Possibilities friends… we can finally show you how this one turned out! 😍🎨

Remember when we told you we were making an exception to our usual no custom orders rule for our sweet follower Ginny? She’s been cheering us on since we started doing makeovers here at the beach, and when she needed a little help making her new house feel like home, we just couldn’t say no! ❤️

Mr. Possibilities has been busy working his magic, and let’s just say this project was a good reminder that sometimes the little details make ALL the difference!

There’s something special about taking furniture that needs a little love and giving it a fresh start. And getting to do that for someone who has supported us along the way? That makes it even sweeter. 🥰

Ginny, thank you for trusting us with your pieces and letting us be a small part of making your new house feel like HOME! We hope you love them as much as we loved bringing them back to life. ❤️

Now, you know we have to ask… 😉

Would you rather have Mr. Possibilities work his magic on a custom piece, or do you prefer to shop our ready-to-go makeovers? Tell us below! 👇

We FINALLY got a rain-free day! 🙌☀️

So Mr. Possibilities is making the most of it and tackling two projects at once today! 🎨🛠️

The 1st coat is going on the custom order, while he’s also giving some attention to an older project that’s been pushed back a time or two for quicker flips.

Today, that project gets its turn! 😍

Mr. Possibilities has definitely got a full plate, but he’s getting it done! 💪

Now I’m curious… are you the type who finishes one project before starting another, or do you have 5 going at once like Mr. Possibilities? 😂👇

Mr. Possibilities is working on a custom order, and before the fun part (PAINT! 🎨) can begin, there’s a little prep work to do.

Scratches need filling, little chips need repairing, and all those imperfections that come with a well-loved piece need some attention. The photo gives you a peek at one of those little chips and the wood filler Mr. Possibilities is using to make it disappear.

It may not be the most glamorous part of a makeover, but it’s the part that makes all the difference in the finished piece.

A little filling, a little sanding, a little patience… and soon this dresser will be ready for its transformation. ✨

Stay tuned — this one is just getting started! ❤️
