Archaic Reflections Stained Glass Studios Giving a future to things of the past. Hi, I'm Mindy. I specialize in hand-crafted stained glass mosaic designs laid in antique ready-to-hang windows.

I started Archaic Reflections because I love bringing life to glass, and items that have lost their place in time.as well as creating high end custom and ready to sell tumblers . . All hardware-installed window frames have been sanded, freed of loose paint and sealed. Windows weigh approximately 15 lbs. Along with my antique windows, I also create smaller stained glass pieces such as sun catchers

, corner hanging art and some stained glass flowers. Let’s not forget the tumblers! These smaller high quality functional pieces of art are made of stainless steel, prepped, covered in glitter,paint, vinyl- whatever media the design calls for-and then covered in FDA compliant food safe resin. Because these are all handmade items natural shift of materials(glitter that doesn’t know it’s place) or an occasional air bubble may occur. Just part of being one of a kind and not machine made. Some work displayed on this page may have been sold -- but it can be reproduced, sort of. The beautiful thing about hand made art is that it’s unique. Any piece you buy cannot be replicated. But it can be similarly recreated. If you love something you have seen or you are wanting a custom piece, let me know! Good mornin all! I thought I would try something a bit different for September- in case you weren’t aware, September is Su***de Awareness month. My research shows Roughly 860 people a year die by su***de in Oklahoma,and su***de is the second leading cause of death in people 10-24, not to mention the devastation left behind for the families and friends.This is too much. I have read information about the group Stand For The Silent. It is an organization that was founded right here in Oklahoma City by a group of high school students in 2010 following the su***de of an 11 year old child who was a victim of bullying and took his own life.This organization has reached thousands of schools and millions of students teaching them empathy, kindness and educating them on signs of distress and what to do when they see it.
100% of sales of my pottery or stained glass I sell through the month of September will be matched and donated to Stand For The Silent. Preorders and custom orders aren’t an option due to time restrictions but I will still be making , posting and updating new things as I can. If there’s a piece you’ve had your eye on or something you’re looking for now is a good time to treat yourself and support a good cause. This includes all items purchased at Mainstreet Marketplace , Etsy orders and anything you see on Instagram or Facebook, which can be shipped to you.To know more about this organization you can go to standforthesilent.org
