We will be at LeakyCon in Chicago next weekend, August 4th thru 6th! We are bringing 400 wands hoping to make lots of people happy.

Managed to turn 10 Bocate Wood wands today. As you can tell from the photo, the base has to be trimmed, the tip has to be sanded round and the high gloss finish has to be applied but the hard part is done.

Turning Bocote wood this morning. Bocote is a very dense hardwood that grows naturally in Central America - and it makes a very interesting wand. This one is freshly turned and sanded.

We will be offering wands at ComicPalooza in Houston in late May. There will be wands made from over 40 types of woods from around the world on display and for sale.

After a long hiatus due to too many reasons - work schedule, covid, politics, medical issues and family issues - I am going to attempt to stay current with timely comments. With that in mind... We were vendors at LeakyCon 2022 in Denver. It was a small but very focused Con. Lots of Potter Heads went home with new wands!

This is the 2nd batch of turned wands. The wands have been turned and sanded but have not had a finish applied yet. The wands shown are Honduran Rosewood, Panamanian Black Palm and South African Bloodwood. Cheers!

Wand display at the Colorado Springs Comic Con last August. Two views: Full table display and close up of box holding cores and a selection of wands. It was a great Con. We found homes for nearly 150 wands. Hope to see you in New Orleans in January.

Day 2 of turning wands for the next comic cons. Starting with Cocobolo. Will turn a large batch of Brazilian Orange Osage and Mexican Chechen. Should get another 20 turned today.
