Here are 4 of my art pieces that I will have at an art exhibit that will be at St. Faustina Cultural Center next weekend - 10/17 from 6-8pm, 10/18 from 5-7pm, 10/19 from 1-3pm.

Art looks better in real life than on a small screen, so go and see my work and many other pieces of beautiful art by other artists, too.

Here's something I just framed recently. It's a reproduction Janis Joplin concert poster.
I used a tie-dye T-shirt to make a hand wrapped fabric mat to give it a nice ~hippie~ vibe.

Here are a couple of photographs I took recently in my backyard. The first one is a Gladiolus and the second one is a burgundy Hibiscus bud with a leaf that's been eaten up quite a bit by something.

Here is a shadowbox frame I made. It showcases the accomplishment of my customer’s daughter. And what an accomplishment. She was in a race that was 100 miles long. But if that wasn’t enough, the race was through wilderness trails in the woods of World’s End State Park. (There were 3 races you could choose to take part in, a 50K, a 100K, and then the biggy was the 100 mile race.)

The background is a topographic map of the race course. On the very bottom of the map it shows the elevation change of the course through the 100 miles. Amazing.

In the center I mounted a piece of bark with an orange blaze which came from the race that marked the course. Near the bottom is an award for being an official finisher of the race and then her race number. I joined two frames together to get the depth needed for the shadowbox. (I forgot to take a detail photo of that.) I finished it using low reflection museum glass so it would have minimal glare from the glass.

For Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, here is a frame I made a few years ago of a photo by Spider Martin. The print is done in a textured silver ink. I made a black top mat with a special extra deep bevel I made from a textured silver mat that really looks nice in person.
