Installed repairs.

This was a tricky one. We had 15 pieces of glass that were totally destroyed throughout this curtain window.
It was originally built and installed in 1979.
A face needed to be painted + a lot with sections of the robe.

See the next video for the process —-> completion.

Working on some installed repairs this week.
We had to paint a face.
A little girl.
Faces are always a little intimidating. I mean, it’s a FACE.

We fired the glass 4 times in our kiln, adding more and more layers of paint.
Unfortunately we did not have a reference glass. The original glass was completely destroyed.
It’s semi easier if you can set the old glass under the new and paint. With nothing except a blurry photo, it required a little more. But all and all, you can’t really tell it was ever damaged. ✅
Will post additional later in the week. We still have 2-3 pieces of glass to install.

We removed this entire frame due to significant rot and deterioration in the bottom portion of the wood.

Our talented wood artist carefully recreated the damaged section, while preserving its original character and craftsmanship.

We then replaced the original yellow glass with clear glass featuring a similar pattern.
Another beautiful restoration—

This location has a few more window frames we will be working on + replacing the glass to match the clear glass we just installed.
The building will look fresh and new once we are finished. ✨
Give us a call to discuss your windows. We’d love to chat.
