We sanded the walls down to smooth a knockdown texture, prepped for grasscloth wallpaper, assembled the cabinetry, installed toe kick lighting, then went to source the stone. That is where I found her: a Calacatta Rose quartz remnant with veining so soft it reads like a true quartzite matching perfectly with the cabinetry. We templated and installed it with an ogee edge for character.

Designer tip: the remnant yard is where the magic hides. Some of the most special stone we have ever used came from a slab someone else passed over. Itā€™s good to look there first, especially if itā€™s for a smaller piece!

We have sat across from homeowners who have had the same Pinterest board open for a year and still have not made a single decision. Not because they lack taste, they have incredible taste. They just have no framework to move forward.

That is the part nobody talks about. The problem is almost never not knowing what you like. It is having so many options that nothing feels like the right one, so nothing happens. Months pass. The paint swatches sit on the counter. The tile samples collect dust. And the house stays exactly the same.

The seven signs in this carousel are the ones we see over and over again in Naples and across Southwest Florida, and sign 7 is the one that surprises almost everyone.

The truth is most people do not need more inspiration. They need someone to sit down with them, listen to how they actually live, and build a plan that makes sense for their home, their lifestyle, and yes, both partnersā€™ visions

Mood Board Monday šŸ¤ Neutral does not have to mean safe. One splash of olive green velvet, and suddenly the whole room has a pulse. Walnut paneling, lime-wash walls, chocolate velvet, alabaster pendants, boucle. Warm on warm, layered until it feels like it has always been there.
