Come watch this drybar come together, and follow along to get a closer look of what we found in the remnant yard!š¤©
We sanded the walls down to smooth a knockdown texture, prepped for grasscloth wallpaper, assembled the cabinetry, installed toe kick lighting, then went to source the stone. That is where I found her: a Calacatta Rose quartz remnant with veining so soft it reads like a true quartzite matching perfectly with the cabinetry. We templated and installed it with an ogee edge for character.
Designer tip: the remnant yard is where the magic hides. Some of the most special stone we have ever used came from a slab someone else passed over. Itās good to look there first, especially if itās for a smaller piece!
Stay tuned for Part 2!
