A Florist Hack 🌸 I know I talk about the dry foam burrito A LOT, but I will continue because I genuinely love this mechanic 😂 For me, it’s really about the structure it gives you. I wrap dry floral foam in chicken wire, shape it into my burrito, and suddenly I have this lightweight base that I can actually sculpt!! I can curve it, extend it, create a cascade, build movement and really control the overall shape before I start layering in flowers. It also saves me HOURS on large-scale installs because so much of that structure can be built ahead of time. I start with my foliage to establish the shape, then layer in my blooms, and because we’re working with dry foam, every fresh flower gets individually water tubed. Yes, every one. It takes a little prep, but the control it gives me over the final shape is completely worth it.
Start wet foam saddle on top - 2 dry foam burritos down middle, one wet foam saddle on bottom. Pin sheet moss to the foam. Begin with hydrangeas then finish with lilies ✨🌸👩‍🌾 absolute perfection

Someone give this girl a raise!!!! flower girl and company is the real MVP of the season!
There was no chance of rain in the forecast yet as soon as we started the ceremony processional, wind and rain came out of nowhere.
Without hesitation, Lexee (the OG Flower Girl) ran out and held the floral installation in place for the entire ceremony...lying on the concrete and getting absolutely soaked for 30 entire minutes so that it wouldn’t move.
And the most humble part is: NO ONE NOTICED. This girl laid in the rain to give her clients the best wedding florals / photos and no one knew she was there.
The best wedding vendors will do just about anything to protect your vision, often without anyone ever knowing. Get yourself wedding vendors who care this much. 🤍
