As we close out our first week in our forever shop, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey of the past year and nine months. The support we've received from family, friends, and community members has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude.

Today, we discovered a monarch butterfly in her chrysalis nestled on one of our garden stems. I usually inspect my plants while harvesting, but this little one made it to the shop and was spotted just in time during the arrangement process. We were concerned because she spent some time in the cooler, so we placed her in the warmest spot at the back of the shop. To our delight, she emerged from her chrysalis in perfect condition! After warming up, she stretched her wings before being released outside to soak up the sunshine and continue her journey to Mexico.
If you know me, you know these butterflies have a very special place in my heart and I was devastated when I found the chrysalis but in the end everything worked out.
