The Latin word “Salve” means welcome or hello or hail. Wouldn’t this be perfect to use in a guest bedroom? 💕

How would you repurpose this late 19th century / early 20th century English pine wash stand? Comes with a lovely aged patina, bun feet at the front and period hardware. Originally used to hold a basin of water for personal grooming, it was designed to fold up into a decorative cupboard when not in use.

I think it makes an ideal little desk for a spare room but it would also make a perfect bar set up! With a key to lock the bottom cupboard, you could close it all up after the party and use as stylish piece of furniture until your next soirée.
