Dear Customers and Friends,
After over ten years of business, we are retiring and looking forward to what we want to do for our senior years or when we grow up. Life experiences are not about your age or what life stage you are at. It’s about doing things that bring you enjoyment and growth. Wow, this has been a journey! We will continue to seek out what the universe reveals to us in this upcoming new chapter of our lives. Stay tuned to see what we do next my friends!
We tried to sell the business at wholesale cost but we were unsuccessful. We wanted to keep a specialty gift shop on Main Street. Working for yourself is the hardest work you will ever do. Yet, it is the most rewarding. The last few years have been a challenge for most small independent retailers. We can’t compete with the large online retailers and the big box stores. As you know, independent retail is a tough business. If you can make it in independent retail, you can make it anywhere.
We deeply appreciate all of you for shopping with us over the past ten years. Your support has been instrumental in helping us offer some of the most amazing and unique products in our store. We will miss all of you. Some of you we know on a first name basis and others we always recognized your face. Your sense of community is what has sustained us. Whether you stopped by to be inspired, get tips on how to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, purchase a gift or to pat Teddy—our beloved Pomeranian; we will miss you.
Starting on Wednesday, January 17 (11-5pm), we will have our Going Out of Business Sale. 50% Off most merchandise. Some exclusions will apply!
