We didn’t spend our entire trip to New York working! We made sure to carve out some time to explore and take in the beautiful scenery. Niagara Falls was absolutely breathtaking! It was even more special getting to share these moments with good friends, and we loved it so much that we decided to extend our trip and soak it all in a little longer.

A huge, heartfelt thank-you to Alyssa and Scott at Aurora Sewing Centers for inviting us in, welcoming us with open arms, and making us feel right at home! We’re so grateful for the opportunity, the wonderful memories, and the friendships made along the way.

While in New York, we had the opportunity not only to host in-person learning, but also to offer a virtual session! 💻 We were so grateful to be able to connect with those who couldn’t attend in person.

Even from Iowa, Kaytlyn got to join in on the fun with Auntie babysitting!

Technology really is pretty sweet!

✨🧵 DAY 3 HIGHLIGHTS | EAST AURORA, NEW YORK! 🧵✨

What an amazing day at our LAST Aurora Sewing Center location in East Aurora! We wrapped up another wonderful day of learning, creativity, and connection with yet another fantastic group of people who made the day so special!

There’s something so rewarding about bringing people together through sewing, sharing tips and techniques, learning new things, and watching everyone’s confidence and creativity grow. We are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with such a fun, talented, and enthusiastic group!

And let’s talk about the location! East Aurora is full of small-town charm, beautiful historic buildings, and that cozy, storybook feel that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into a Hallmark movie and fun fact many have been filmed there! It’s easy to see why filmmakers love the area!

Between the sewing, the laughter, the new friendships, and the charm of East Aurora, Day 3 was another one for the books!

📍 East Aurora, NY — you were the perfect place to wrap up this part of our sewing journey!

Our right-hand man, Ed got in on the action today! We’re so thankful for another amazing day surrounded by such an awesome group of people! The hard work, prep and good company makes days like these extra special!

We had an amazing time with this wonderful group at Aurora Sewing Center – Victor location! ❤️ We loved spending the day together, learning, laughing, and making great memories. And of course, the fun didn’t stop when the day was over! 🎉 We had to keep the good times rolling afterward! 🥰

What a wonderful celebration! ❤️

A huge thank you to Heidi Kaisand and her amazing staff at Hen & Chicks Studio for inviting us to be part of their 15th Anniversary celebration! Fifteen years is such an incredible milestone, and it was so much fun celebrating with all of you.

A very special thank you to Rhonda Koepke for demoing our new embroidery applique throughout the event. We are so grateful for everything you did to help make the day extra special!

We also loved sharing the day with Terry Atkinson. She shared some wonderful insights into her new book with Gudrun Erla, Once Upon a Strip. It’s always inspiring to hear the stories, ideas, and creativity behind a new project.

Kaytlyn and I truly had a blast! We loved visiting with everyone, sharing ideas, laughing, and spending time with so many creative people.

Congratulations, Heidi, on 15 wonderful years! We wish you and the entire Hen & Chicks team many, many more years of creativity, friendship, and continued success. Thank you for letting The Whole Country Caboodle be a small part of such a special celebration! ❤️
