RARE opportunity to purchase an original work by famous Haitian artist Raymond Olivier (1943 - 1980)
Olivier's work is discussed in important books on Haitian art due to his unusual cubist-influenced aesthetic featuring geometric planes.
He has exhibited internationally in Haiti, Canada, Spain, Switzerland, France, and the USA. His work has also been featured in the Haitian Embassy in DC.
Additionally, Olivier was awarded first place in an international UNESCO exhibit.
This piece, dated 1976, is particularly special since his artwork has become more scarce on the market, and it was painted during his most recognized period.
Originally purchased by the owner from a Miami gallery.
