We started a load of laundry three hours ago.

Is it still sitting in the washer?

Possibly.

Did we get distracted by decorating, scrolling for home inspiration, watering flowers, or admiring chickens?

Also possibly.

The truth is, some days we’re thriving. Other days we’re just trying to remember where we put the laundry basket.

And honestly? That’s okay too!

We absolutely did not need another throw pillow.

And yet...

The second we saw it, we immediately started mentally redecorating an entire room around it.

Anyone else do this?

One pretty pillow somehow turns into:
✔️ New throw blanket
✔️ Rearranged furniture
✔️ Fresh flowers
✔️ Entire personality for the season

And honestly?

No regrets.

Because there is something about a beautifully layered, cozy home that just makes everyday life feel a little sweeter.
