Can I let you in on a little heads-up?

Starting tomorrow, Stampin’ Up! is offering free shipping for three days.

Tuesday Tip: The Rule of Three ✨

Have you ever finished a card and felt like it was missing a little something?

One of the easiest design tricks in card making is called the Rule of Three.

Try it with:
💎 Three embellishments
📄 Three different pieces of Designer Series Paper
🌸 Three flowers, leaves, or any other favorite die cuts

Groups of three help create balance, add visual interest, and guide the eye across your card.

It’s a simple trick that can make a big difference!

Some color combinations just make you smile, don’t they?

These colors in particular make me think of summer flower gardens, handmade cards, and friends who brighten our days.

One of the things I love most about paper crafting is how a few simple colors can inspire so many creative possibilities.

I’d love to see what YOU would create using this sketch and color palette. Whether you pull out your stamps today or save the idea for later, I hope it inspires you to spend a little time creating something beautiful.

After all these years of paper crafting, I’ve learned that simple is often better.

That’s one reason I’ve always loved Stampin’ Up!

The colors coordinate. The paper, stamps, dies, and embellishments are designed to work together. Instead of spending my time figuring out what matches, I get to spend more time creating.

I greatly appreciate things that make creativity easier and more enjoyable.

That’s my “Today’s News” story. 😊

This is a card made by one of my customers. She has a lovely creative spirit that hasn't changed with her health issues. I believe that card making is very therapeutic not only for DP but for me as well. Will you join me in praying for DP?

I've been working on a creative project that will be part of a one of my upcoming classes. It's made from a simple paper lunch bag with pockets using Hobby Haven DSP and Creative Haven Bundle to make a spa themed treat bag. I also think this could be used for a themed birthday party or a shower goody bag! It contains a nail file, aloe face mask and lens wipes.
Can you think of other small inexpensive things I could put into the pocket?

After I posted about Hamburger Day, I remembered that Stampin' Up had a Bistro Burger stamp and die set. Unfortunately it is no longer available, however I'm sure you could find it from a third party seller. And silly me, did I remember to make John , my Hamburger King a card for Hamburger Day ... no! I may have to start wearing Post-It notes all over my body to remember all the things I would otherwise forget! Do you ever forget things? 🍔

Happy Hamburger Day! My husband loves, loves, loves hamburgers & cheeseburgers. There are lots of places that have free or discounted hamburgers today. John may spend all day just going to all the places that have free hamburgers. 😉 Stampin' Up! even has a set of stamps and dies, but I haven't made a card from him with those products yet. Have you used the Stampin' Up! Hamburger and die set?

In addition to honoring those who served it is also considered by some to be the first day of Summer. Here in middle Tennessee it feels like it is already summer. What season do you prefer ... Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring?
