Things are getting a little spooky at Living Earth. 💀

Richmond, Cutten and New Caney had some Halloween fun Friday, and now we’re wondering who’s going to give them a run for their money.

We’re looking at you, DFW, Nashville, Knoxville and the rest of Houston. Let’s see what you’ve got! 🎃

As we wrap up Customer Service Week, we’re giving a well-deserved shoutout to our customer service representatives across Texas and Tennessee. At Living Earth, great customer service isn’t optional. It’s an essential part of our business, and our CSRs are often the first point of contact, helping customers find what they need, answering questions and making sure things run smoothly.

Of course, it takes a team! Behind every great customer experience is a whole crew of people making it happen, from our equipment operators and drivers to our site managers, logistics teams and everyone working behind the scenes.

We’re sharing a few familiar faces from across Living Earth, but this thank-you goes to every CSR and the many valued team members who contribute to the customer experience.

Thanks for all you do, team. We appreciate you! 💚

Playgrounds take a beating. That’s kind of the point. 🛝

Living Earth® Kiddie Cushion Playground Chips are engineered wood fiber made from virgin hardwood and/or pine, designed for high-use public and private playgrounds.

And there’s some serious testing behind all that playing. Kiddie Cushion is IPEMA-certified to meet ASTM F2075 standards for material quality and ASTM F1292 standards for impact attenuation. It’s also free of pallets, bark and chemically treated wood.

From schools and parks to neighborhood and backyard playgrounds, it’s made for places where play is serious business.

Find Kiddie Cushion at select Living Earth locations.

What happens to all those branches, leaves and yard trimmings after cleanup day? 🌿

At Living Earth’s Elm Hill Pike location in East Nashville, clean green waste gets another life. The site accepts yard trimmings and other approved organic materials for recycling, helping turn local green waste into useful landscape materials instead of simply throwing it away.

And judging by the reviews, Nashville customers appreciate having the option. They’ve called Elm Hill an easy, reliable place to recycle yard waste and praised the team for making the process simple and helpful.

Elm Hill is also a working source for locally produced landscape materials, including mulch, compost, soil blends and pine straw for homeowners, landscape professionals and commercial projects.

Need materials? Stop in, view samples and place your order, and the team can help with loading. Have clean green waste? Bring that along, too. Recycling fees and requirements may apply so give us a call for more info: (615) 730-7238.

A lot comes and goes through Elm Hill Pike, and quite a bit of it gets put back to work. ♻️🌱

September is National Honey Month, and we happen to know a guy...

A Living Earth employee shared some photos of a very noteworthy hobby: beekeeping.

Bees are a pretty good reminder that what we grow in our yards and landscapes matters. Flowering trees, shrubs and plants can provide food and habitat for pollinators while making our own outdoor spaces a little better, too.

And apparently, sometimes all that work ends with a jar of honey. 🐝🍯

Happy National Honey Month! 🌼🐝

There’s a new house going up in Nashville, and Living Earth is helping with the groundwork. 🏈🌱

As the Tennessee Titans play their final season in the current Nissan Stadium, work continues across the river on the new stadium scheduled to open in 2027. Living Earth is proud to be providing landscape materials for the project, working alongside the teams bringing this massive new addition to Nashville’s East Bank to life.

And if you’re headed to a Titans game this season, keep an eye out for us in the stadium program. Every yard counts — especially when you’re building the next chapter.

Titan Up!

As we wrap up National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we’re recognizing some of the people who keep Living Earth moving. 🚛

Across our markets, our drivers spend their days moving materials between locations and getting products where they need to go. And they’re not doing it alone. Our heavy equipment operators are instrumental to the process, running the loaders, grinders and other equipment that keeps material moving long before it hits the road.

This video features just some of our drivers, but the appreciation extends to every driver and equipment operator across Living Earth.

Thank you for the work you do every day and for keeping things moving!

The days are getting shorter... The upside (besides cooler weather)? The show starts earlier. 🌙

September is giving Middle Tennessee plenty of reasons to look up! Between now and September 20, watch the Moon move past Antares (the reddish star at the heart of Scorpius) and toward the “Teapot” in Sagittarius. If it's especially dark in your area, you may see the hazy center of the Milky Way rising like steam from the Teapot.

And there’s to look forward to: fall officially arrives September 22, followed by the Harvest Moon on September 26 with Saturn shining nearby.

NASA has details on September skywatching. https://science.nasa.gov/solar-system/skywatching/whats-up-september-2026-skywatching-tips-from-nasa/

The Moon joins a tea party, Venus reaches peak brilliance, and the seasons change. These are the skywatching highlights for September.
