In October of 2016, I was brainstorming on what I could "make" for Christmas gifts instead of standing in long lines at the mall. So I started researching "Things to make." I was trying to come up with something that my family could use. I started watching YouTube to get ideas. I came across a "Deco Mesh" wreath tutorial and realized that NO ONE in my family has or has had a wreath on their front
door. I began watching hours upon hours of tutorials. I went out and purchased what I needed. When I had returned home, I was so excited to start making these beautiful wreaths. I was hooked! Christmas was just around the corner and I had 10 wreaths to make for different family members. Those 10 wreaths actually looked great!! After the family had received their wreaths, they had nothing but positive things to say! I was kind of shocked by that! I AM NOT a "Crafty" person at all. OR SO I THOUGHT. Those 10 wreaths I made for Christmas presents showed that indeed I did have a "CRAFTY" side. What a Blessing!! After posting the pictures of the wreaths that I had created for my family on Facebook, I started getting messages and phone calls asking how much would they charge me to make a "custom" wreath. "WHAT?? NO WAY?? FROM ME?? I AM NOT THAT EXPERIENCED!!" Next thing I know I had order after order. I couldn't make the wreaths fast enough. After praying about it, God let my little hobby turn into a business. I now create not only Deco Mesh Wreaths, I create Yarn Wreaths, Tulle Wreaths, Grapevine wreaths, Fabric Wreaths, Burlap wreaths, Ribbon Wreaths and some Greenery Wreaths. I have learned how to create my own flowers made out of burlap, fabric and felt. I can add any Lettering/Monogramming to any wreath as well. As of today, I now have 2 designers who work with me on each creation. I get to stay at home with my 4 year old son. THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE. I get to work in my pj's, spend "QUALITY" time with my Husband Ken (when he's not at work) and my son Kasen. My Husband has been so supportive and encourages me to do my best at anything I do. I will not sale a wreath without putting 110% into it. I have made a TON of wreaths and other door decor. I just had to reach down and find my creative side. And that is how my business was born!
