I think I confused some of you. Our office and display area were not affected. So you can come by to see what we have left in stock at 8633 Highway 100(where we have always been)
Hope to see you all soon!

For 79 years, the Cedar Place has been in business at this location. Thank you to each and everyone of you who have supported us through the years. Our parents Bobby and Judy Greer raised a family of six with this business. On January 25, 2026 the ice storm hit us hard! Six large trees sliced through our workshop. Fortunately, most of the tools were spared. But the building is a total loss. Our sawmill building also received heavy damage from fallen trees. We have been unable to recover from this disaster. The task has been overwhelming. We’ve made the difficult decision to close the business by the end of the year. We have quite a bit of stock left to sell so if you’ve always wanted something from the Cedar Place now is the time. We have set up Shop in a building down the road temporarily and can still build a few things with the materials that we have left. But our office and display area were undamaged, so come by and see what we have! Thank you in advance for your support.

Some of my family have been working out of this building making things out of wood for over 50 years, as a teenager I watched in excitement as it was being built. We always brought the wood in ourselves through the sliding door in the back. But now some uninvited guests have found their way in by force. Not just one but five large trees. We are thankful to God for protecting us from harm. Also, 95%of our tools survived. Buildings can be replaced. Although the old building was uninsurable we will survive. Our family apperciates all the well wishes and concern and offers to help. It’s time to turn the page. We will be fine!
