Custom Audio, Video and Electronics - CAVE is now serving the Nashville, TN market via Bruce Gillespie!! We are constantly training and researching new products just to stay on top of the best products for our customers. Our target is to deliver exactly what you want from the basic TV install to a full house sound system and home theatre. Take a look at a recent project completed in an Office Training Room. Here's a list of the installed items: Epson Ultra Short Throw Projection system over an Epson 100” Whiteboard/Screen connected to a two zone JBL audio system with 2 Shure SM58 wireless microphones and a connection to the Projector via an Epson WiFi software program.

Customer wanted a more budget friendly approach for mounting 3 different TV’s in their home. Concealing wires and more elaborate TV mounting was not needed to suit their needs. We’re glad to help!

Dedicate Single speakers vs. soundbar.......Followup to post on Center Channel........
Soundbars are everwhere, and virtually every TV Manufacturer and Speaker Manufacturer makes them. Why? Because they serve a convenient purpose: a single box under the TV that is supposed to improve the sound versus the built in TV speakers. Given that, why would you use individual left, right and possibly center channel speakers instead? Generally speaking, because the individual speakers produce a larger, wider sound stage, and better sound. The larger sound image immerses the viewer into the video imagery, which should improve the viewing experience. Got Questions? Just ask, thank you.

So, I send my wife this picture of a project I was working on in Tampa, Florida and she says "wow that is a tiny sound bar". My reply was that it was a Center Channel speaker rather than a sound bar so the whole topic of What is a Center Channel speaker was discussed. A Center Channel Speaker is the Primary source of sound in a Surround Sound speaker set up. It provides up to 70% of the dialogue, so it is quite important that it provides clear sounds. It can be a dedicated single speaker or it can be part of a soundbar. Typically, the better the speaker, the better the sound. Stay tuned for my follow up this week on Dedicate Single Speakers vs Soundbars.

One of the projects completed from the week. This is a is a 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos audio/video system.......
Samsung 75” 4K set with a Marantz receiver and Roku Ultra. The inwall and inceiling speakers are all Totem Acoustic, while the 2 subwoofers are 12” with 12” passive radiators Proficient designed by Sunfire. A single remote by URC is used to control the system. The second photo is the bedroom TV system installed a 55" Sony, Roku and Yamaha soundbar. Customer commented he loves the sound and set up. We love happy customers!!

Are you looking to integrate or combine your Cassette Deck, Turntable and VCR all into one system. Most of us know by now that High Definition Television is a must have but what about all our old favorite players and media sources? This is project I completed at the home of MaryAnn and Ray Smyth in Sun City Center, Florida. They decided to make several upgrades to their existing equipment and they wanted to integrate all their old school components into living room and to be able to listen to them into the lanai……so I connected everything to a new receiver and then added stereo sound system - speakers to the lanai that they could listen to every analog and digital source on plus and have it all at their fingertips on one remote. Living room has its own Dolby Surround sound Atmos system.
