⛪ IN SEARCH OF — TRAVELING CHURCH UPHOLSTERY CONTRACTOR

NO UPHOLSTERY EXPERIENCE NEEDED
JD’s Upholstery is growing, and we’re looking for experienced tradespeople interested in contracting with us on church upholstery projects across the country.

This is a travel-intensive 1099 independent contractor opportunity ideal for someone with strong woodworking, cabinetry, installation, construction, mechanical, or related trade experience who is comfortable working independently and solving problems in the field.

🚐 ABOUT THE PROJECTS
Projects are located throughout the United States and may require extended travel. Many projects may last an average of one week at a time, depending on the scope and location of the work.
Contractors are offered projects based on availability and project needs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Woodworking, cabinetry, installation, construction, mechanical or similar trade experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in the field
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other contractors
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Professional and respectful conduct while working in churches and customer facilities

CHURCH UPHOLSTERY EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED.

Contractors should already possess strong trade skills. JD’s provides project-specific orientation regarding our church upholstery systems, project specifications, quality expectations, and customer requirements.

JD’s Upholstery is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, skilled Upholsterers to join our team as a 🔨 1099 Independent Contractors.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and has the experience to confidently complete a wide variety of upholstery projects from start to finish, including:

🏠 Residential Furniture
🏢 Commercial Upholstery
🚤 Marine Upholstery

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Minimum 2 years of upholstery experience
• Ability to complete a wide variety of furniture pieces from start to finish
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Must provide your own upholstery tools
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing and able to travel occasionally for out-of-town projects
• Photos or portfolio of previous work strongly preferred

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

💰 Gross Earning Potential: $60,000 - $110,000 annually
