Last Christmas my goal was a Christmas themed quilt for my Granny and quilts for my kids. That was a lofty goal and I managed to get the Christmas quilt finished and the top of one kid’s quilt 🤦🏻‍♀️. This year I finished all three!! My kids have been begging for their quilts but they have to wait for Christmas morning 🎄🎄🎄.

Thank you for looking, following and stopping by my page! A Small Town Quilting Co. was born out of a labor of love! When I was 14, that summer my Granny desired to spend special time with each of her granddaughters that lived nearby. When it was my turn and I was so excited!

My Granny let me choose my own fabrics, guided me with choosing a pattern and then we got started. I still have that quilt today! As I got older I decided my 14 year old self did not make good choices in choosing fabrics 😂 so I asked to make another and my Granny graciously agreed to help me again! The next quilt was much more beautiful ☺️.

Then, a few days before I left for college I decided I needed a new one for my dorm. We quickly made a fabric run, chose a pattern and reached out to my Granny’s cousin for help! This one turned out to be hot pink, black and white! I still use it when we’re all snuggled up watching a movie!

In October of 2023 I decided I wanted to make quilts for my kids for Christmas. This was an over zealous plan but I wanted to get them done. My Granny told me that she always wanted a Christmas quilt but just ran out of time through the years. So, I decided I would make her one! When I had the two finished and started looking to have them quilted I found that Quilter’s are in short supply and high demand! I decided to quilt my Granny’s quilt on my own machine and go from there! I found that I had a great time choosing fabrics, putting the different fabrics together and what once seemed like a daunting task became a puzzle of sorts that I enjoyed having to figure out!

I have a few smaller projects in the works but have some done just in time for Valentine’s Day! I have several decorative items to choose from.

We have a few Custom table runners, coordinating placemats and coaster’s as well!
