She is in search of items that are unique, handmade, As Nataliya travels around the world, she meets local artisans and vendors who embrace the lost art and craft of creating beautiful pieces by hand. No 2 pieces are exactly alike as opposed to most home decor items on find today. The first collection is from Morocco, and is a eclectic mix of rugs, blankets, pillows, and other small home decor items. A portion of each purchase will go to a charity in the country of origin.

Happy World Down Syndrome Day!💙💛 This honestly never was a day on my radar. Now I know 3/21 will forever be one of the most important days of the year for us.

Jack has taught me so much in such a short amount of time. In some ways, I’ve learned more in the last 8 months than I have in the last 40 years.

Prior to having him, I honestly didn’t have many experiences with Down Syndrome. So then when I found out about his diagnosis, I thought, “I can’t be a special needs mom. I’m not cut out for this”

Turns out, I am.

I asked God to show me why this was meant for me.

Little by little, He’s showing me more.

Having a child with Down syndrome isn’t what most people hope or dream for. It’s not an easy path. Between the high risk pregnancy, the unknowns at birth, his open heart surgery, recovery, and now daily life with therapy appointments, it’s a lot. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

And it’s not what I thought it was going to be either.
The good exponentially outweighs the hard. Jack has the biggest smiles. He rarely cries. He is brilliant and observant. He’s always on the move, yet easy going. He has overcome every obstacle in his path, and exceeded all expectations so far. My favorite pastime is watching him prove people and outdated literature wrong. He’s defining his own path.

I know now why they call it the Lucky Few. I feel like we are the luckiest 💙💛

Do you know the story behind our Love Mugs?

They are handmade in Morocco, designed by LRNCE, and come in a pair. The 2 mugs are slightly different in design but complement each other, and both each have a little heart in the bottom of the cup. The idea behind them is you keep one, and then you give one to your mom, best friend, sister, whoever…. and whenever you use your cup, and see that heart in the bottom of it, you think of that person! Isn’t that sweet?👯‍♀️

You may be wondering…What makes a vintage Moroccan rug so special?

Let me share a few reasons!

✨Each one was handwoven by women of tribes in Morocco. This is a tradition that dates back many generations, but is now dying off in recent times.

✨Each tribe has various characteristics when it comes to rug making. Some tend to be more colorful and abstract, while others are more classic, neutral, and/or minimal in design. Even the knot technique varies from region to region.

✨You know when you see a true vintage tribal Moroccan rug, you’ll never see the same design twice. So they are truly works of art!
