It is with a heart full of gratitude that I reflect on the past 26 years. The journey of Rusty Bugs & Roosters has been an incredible one, filled with moments of joy, growth, and connection, all thanks to your unwavering support.
The outpouring of love and kindness we received during our closing this month was truly overwhelming and deeply moving. The stories shared, the expressions of gratitude—especially those who insisted on paying full price for merchandise as a gesture of appreciation—have left an indelible mark on my heart. These acts of generosity underscore the special community we've built together, a community that has consistently prioritized connection and affordability. The RBR Team, my amazing team, deserve a special mention. Their unwavering dedication and the love they poured into Rusty Bugs & Roosters made all the difference. Their support during this transition has been invaluable and touched me profoundly.
While the future remains unwritten, I cherish the memories and relationships forged over these past 26 years. Owning and operating a small business within such a supportive and caring community has been the greatest privilege. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a part of our story. We are pleased to announce that BLAZE has embarked on a new venture with Staunch Traditional Outfitters. We appreciate their generous donation to our nonprofit organization. It is heartening to see small business owners collaborate for the greater good. The final countdown has begun, and tomorrow, August 10th, marks our last day of operation. We will be donating all sales to Love Child, our nonprofit organization. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow and remind you that everything is 75% off!

THANK YOU everyone for the fantastic outpouring of love and support through our store liquidation! Things have been flying out of here 🐓😉(pun intended) & we are preparing for our final days to be open. We will be open weekends only going forward. Sorry for any inconvenience! We still have great selection of jewelry and accessories left along with products from our own Love Child brand available. We also have store fixtures, furniture, beading and crafting supplies and much more still for sale! The entire store is 50% off! Thanks again for 26 fantastic years! Good morning and WoW!! Liquidation for the last two days has just been unbelievable! The store will be closed on Monday (21st) & Tuesday (22nd) as we regroup and re-organize the remaining inventory...(& catch our breath!!) We will reopen again on Wednesday the 23rd for regular hours, 10-6. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love & support by loyal local customers and by tourists, both new & returning. THANK YOU to the tourists who would often tell us that we were their favorite stop on their yearly trip to the area. THANK YOU to the locals that would always be a welcome smile through the door as they stopped in to grab a last-minute gift or to pick up a bottle of Mexican vanilla, because they had just run out...or frantically needed hair bows the day before school pictures (because they knew that we would have them, and in the right color)...THANK YOU for the smiles, fond memories (& yes, tears) we have shared with you over the past two days, please know that they have fueled us through this emotional time. Everything in the store is 50% OFF. We still have tons of great items, especially jewelry & accessories (pssssst, it’s not to early to think about stocking stuffers!!) We look forward to seeing you!

It is with a mix of sadness and heartfelt gratitude that we announce the closing of Rusty Bugs & Roosters in August. After 26 wonderful years, this chapter of our story is coming to a close. This hasn't simply been a boutique; it's been a vibrant community hub, a place where friendships have blossomed and memories have been made.
I am eternally grateful for your unwavering loyalty and support throughout the years. It has been an absolute privilege to serve you. More than that, I've been incredibly fortunate to work alongside the most exceptional team of women any business owner could dream of. They have not only provided exceptional service, but they have also formed genuine connections with each of you, sharing laughter, tears, prayers, and friendship. The bonds we've built will be cherished forever.
We will be liquidating our inventory starting tomorrow July 18th and throughout the month of August, and we encourage you to visit us one last time to browse our remaining treasures. We want to express our deepest appreciation for your patronage, your support of our associated non-profit organization, and your understanding during this challenging transition. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
