Welcome to a dining room that doesn’t believe in holding back. The palette is confident, the Chinoiserie is layered with intention, and the idea of “neutral” has been redefined entirely (a white bamboo chair feels almost quiet here). Where traditional florals meet a graphic greek key underfoot, and neither one feels the need to compete.

A guest bath that understands restraint...but also knows how to make an impression!

The star-patterned floors ground it, the floral shades soften it, and the brass pulls everything together without trying too hard. Everything feels considered, but never overworked. It's the kind of space that makes visitors feel instantly at home, turning a quick stay into an elevated experience. Who knows, this space might even turn them into a morning person. 😉

Spring arrives and suddenly every pattern and pop of color feels like a great decision. Florals? Of course. Pattern? Always. A subtle scalloped element? Very necessary. As the outdoors starts to show off, the interiors simply keep up.

Whether it’s a Chinoiserie wallcovering or a gingham accent, these decisions start to feel more intentional rather than decorative. A subtle reflection of the season, carried thoughtfully throughout the space.

Mixing patterns is usually the part of the process where some people might start to sweat, but for me, it's where I get the most excited.

I love a clean line as much as the next person, but there's a certain level of personality you can't mimic in the way a custom millwork detail or a sculptural texture can play off a well chosen wallpaper.

I honestly think that most people are pattern people; they just haven't met the right one yet. 😉 I always have so much fun pushing the envelope just a bit and seeing how a single design choice can completely redefine the mood of a space. So take this as your sign to get outside your comfort zone with patterns, you might just surprise yourself.

I’m often asked the secret to mixing patterns without the room feeling cluttered. The key? Knowing when to let a piece fade into the background.

Since I went bold with both the ceiling and the rug, I chose a glass chandelier to keep the space feeling light and airy while still making a statement. The result is a look of livable luxury. You get all the character of a multi-patterned space, without any of the visual noise.

Let's talk about the word "neutral." Somewhere along the way, it became synonymous with just white, beige, and gray. But when a space is well thought out, color can actually function as the most calming neutral in the room.

This light blue island isn’t just a "pop" of color; it acts as a foundation that feels every bit as timeless as a classic cream! Because the tone is pulled from a natural palette, it provides a sense of calm.

Everything comes together when you layer in those secondary hues. The coral window treatment and green patterned cushions don't feel loud because they're balanced by the crisp white cabinetry and the warmth of the wood floors. A house should feel like a home that’s actually lived in and loved...crumbs, coffee spills, and all. ☕️🤍

Which part of this design is your favorite? The pop of coral on the windows, the subtle texture of the backsplash, or the blue island?

While a charcoal butterfly wallpaper and a vibrant green velvet sofa might feel like a daring combination on paper, the result is a room that is full of personality and the ones that are the most memorable.

At the end of the day, choosing elements that spark a connection is the surest way to build a space that feels like an extension of you!

Sometimes I see people play it safe to avoid visual noise. BUT, what if I told you that you can absolutely have multiple bold elements while keeping a room perfectly balanced?

Floral patterns and a wavy blue ceiling might sound like a lot, but they just need a common language. Enter: the cobalt beaded chandelier. By acting as a focal point, it ties the bold elements together and transforms a 'busy' space into one that’s purposefully vibrant.

PS: We won 'Designer of The Year for Color and Pattern' with this project! 🤍

I’m always amazed by how a new palette and layout can completely redefine a home.

My secret to keeping a neutral space from feeling cold? Texture, texture, and obviously more texture! By pairing minimalist furnishings with a few bold statement pieces, those original architectural beams were still honored while giving the home a much-needed breath of fresh air.

Swipe through to see the full transformation. 🤍
