Some of the best parts of running a small business are the other small businesses you get to work alongside.

Over the years, we’ve become part of so many other businesses’ stories. Through wholesale, private label, and partnerships, we’ve had the opportunity to bring ideas to life, create products for others to share with their customers, and watch our work reach places we might never have reached on our own.

Getting to be part of what other small businesses are building has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. There’s something special about knowing that the work you put your heart into can become part of someone else’s dream, too.

That’s one of the things that makes shopping small so meaningful. There are people, families, and countless hours of hard work behind the businesses we support, and sometimes the impact reaches further than we ever get to see.

We’re grateful for all the businesses that have crossed paths with ours, for the trust they’ve placed in us, and for every customer who continues to support what we do. It means more than you know. 🤍

Before it was a candle, it was a soybean. 🌾

Right now, combines are rolling through golden soybean fields all across the Midwest. Dust is flying. Harvest is in full swing.

Those soybeans will go on to become all kinds of things, including the soy wax we use to make our candles.

More than 80% of U.S. soybean acreage is right here in the Midwest. That’s one of the reasons we love using 100% American-grown soy wax in every candle we make.

Once it reaches us, we keep the process simple and intentional. Every candle is hand-poured in true small batches with phthalate-free fragrances, lead-free cotton wicks, no dyes, and no paraffin. We’re thoughtful about every detail, from the wax and fragrances we choose to the wick we pair with each candle. We want you to feel good about what you’re burning in your home.

It’s a pretty incredible little journey when you think about it. 🤎🌾

Honestly, who are we to argue? 🤎

There’s just something about getting in the car and being greeted by your favorite fall scent. It makes even a quick drive feel a little better.

You can find these little bits of fall at The Good Co. in New Tuesday–Saturday from 11–6, and The Mercantile in Pendleton, every day from 11–7.
