Growing up I can always remember handmade crocheted blankets at my grandparents house. My great grandma had crocheted them for my grandparents, my mom, and all her grandkids. Seeing these blankets initially sparked my interest in learning how to crochet.

Today I was able to donated some of the blankets that I have crocheted in the past couple months. I donated these blankets in memory of my grandparents.

My grandpa passed away in 2019. He was a cancer patient and sat through chemo treatments during his fight. Today I donated blankets to IU Health Cancer center in memory of him so others fighting can have some comfort and warmth during their chemo treatments.

My grandma passed away recently. She had been struggling with dementia and spent her last couple weeks in a nursing home with round the clock care. Today I donated blankets to Lincolnshire Memory Care in memory of her so others can enjoy a warm, soft blanket while they are away from their homes.

I hope their memory will live on and I will be able to continue crocheting blankets for family, friends, and anyone who needs a warm cozy blanket. Until we meet again. God is so good 🖤
