It’s Makers Monday, and if you’ve noticed, we don’t call ourselves an antique mall — we call ourselves a vendor market. That was intentional from the very beginning. We wanted about 75% of our shop to be vintage, antique, retro, and collectible treasures… but we also wanted to leave room for local artisans, creators, and people who make beautiful things with their hands and hearts.
That’s what Makers Monday is all about.
Meet Monica and Aaron — a couple of the talented makers helping make our market something truly unique. Supporting small business means supporting dreamers, creators, and people willing to take a chance on what they love. We are proud to have makers like Monica and Aaron booth 545, Barn and Beam Workshop.

Their booth is a mixture of treasure hunting finds and treasures made in their barn workshop. Aaron is the builder, Monica is the painter. Please visit their booth on your next visit.

It’s Mr. Beaudry’s birthday today. Aka Best Husband Ever. Aka the official support crew for the Junque Girls. The mover, the transporter, the fixer, the heavy lifter, the “can you help us with this real quick?” guy who somehow always says yes. Honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without him until we can someday afford to hire our own “Mr. Beaudry”… although he definitely won’t be as good-looking.

Now before anybody gets any ideas — this man does NOT want a big fuss made over him. No parties. No cake. Absolutely no singing Happy Birthday for heaven’s sake. But we did want to honor him today with this little clip.

One night while we were driving home, he abruptly stopped the truck and jumped out. I had no idea what he was doing, so I grabbed my phone and started recording. He had no clue I was filming him, and he’ll probably be mildly annoyed that I’m sharing it… but if you really want to know a man’s heart, watch how he cares for the people around him. Watch how he treats all living things. Watch the little things nobody else sees.

That’s who he is. That's who I see.

I wouldn’t trade him for anything. Not even Mathew McConaughey. 🤔

Thank you for everything you do for me as your wife, for your family, and for our shop. Thank you for being mine and Jenny’s go-to person for all the things that need more muscle, more patience, and more strength than we can give in that moment.
