What a beautiful day to enjoy a flax picnic with members of Schumacher, America’s oldest design house, and the PA Flax Project’s founders. The flax fields were in bloom and we celebrated the re-imagining and regrowth of the flax-to-linen industry. This exciting movement, lead by regional agricultural groups, is actively researching and attempting to rebuild a sustainable field-to-fiber supply chain to PA and the United States.
