Was digging through some old style boards and came across this gem from over 4 years ago! I am still loving them. I helped the client purchase some of the main furniture pieces for her nursery first. We were very practical with our choices and made sure that these were pieces that would grow with baby (ie- a dresser instead of a changing table, a storage bench instead of a toy box, an upholstered glider with accent footstool instead of a wooden rocker and ottoman, etc.). From there, we WAITED!!!! Who does that anymore?! It was AWESOME! There are so few surprises left in the world. She didn't want to do a gender reveal ahead of the delivery day. So, I put her nesting mind at ease by making some suggestions on how we could find some great fabrics, readymade window treatments, lighting and accessories to help make this nursery a little more gender specific after baby's arrival. Which scheme do you like better? Guess what?
