Attic Makeover:
Turning an attic into a fabulous space can be difficult given the weird angles, head heights and cramped spaces. With some clever ideas were able to turn this attic into a romantic modern bedroom with a renovated bathroom to create a true oasis.

Developed in the 1800 Esplanade Ridge and Bayou Road are one of the oldest communities in New Orleans. The PRC spring tour will have six beautiful homes open for you to walk through and experience this historic time in our city. We designed 1914 Esplanade also called the Tete house and it is the last house that Henry Howard designed. It features a dramatic staircase, beautiful arches medallions and exquisite architectural details. We were able to honor the history of the home and worked not only to restore it but also add color and texture to reflect our clients love for the art and artifacts.

Come join us in celebrating this beautiful community and the PRC‘s mission in preserving historic communities and homes in New Orleans.

Sneak peek to our project on Esplanade Avenue, which will be featured in the PRC‘s Esplanade spring tour May 9 and 10th.
This is also Mother’s Day weekend - a perfect day to take your mom out on a beautiful tour of homes in the Esplanade Ridge area.

ASID Silver for Best Small Commercial

NJ ID takes some small commercial projects and when we interviewed with Keller Williams for their project, around 2021 it was a match made in heaven. Jeffrey and Lauren Doussan had such a vision for where they wanted to take their business we were able to realize their dream. They completely trusted us to move entire walls and completely space plan what was an old chopped up modernist building. We created small and large spaces of compression and expansion to give a sense of grandeur with large meeting spaces and coziness for smaller offices. The result is a beautiful mix of color, modernity, texture, and a sense of place. ( Lauren wove the lattice! ) The clients wanted their real estate office to feel like a small luxury boutique hotel rather than a cluttered office filled with logos and banners. We were able to work with the outstanding team at Overkill Construction to put this project together. Our favorite is the coffee bar covered in shagreen.

What a whirlwind! We won! At the annual ASID design competition. It means so much to be awarded by your peers and your industry.

I cannot stress enough that this award is not just me-It’s my entire team. I could not have done any of this work without the very, very talented Sarah Allee-Walsh our lead interior designer and Ericka Moreira our logistics manager. This was a labor of love and dedication on each and every project from beginning to end including our fabulous clients who have trusted us with their projects. Heart and soul handed it over to us and waited for their vision to come true in our hands. Thank you all for trusting us.
