Every Leontine quilt begins with two outer layers of fabric stitched together around an inner layer of batting, creating a subtly textured design that adds depth and softness. Patterned and stitched by hand at our Eleanor Beard Studio in Kentucky, where quilts have been made the same way since 1921. Made to be loved and cherished for generations to come.

One of our most beloved styles, the Buttons Quilt is made of luxurious charmeuse satin and hand-stitched in our American studio the exact same way it’s been done for over a hundred years. We are proud to be stewards of the historic Eleanor Beard Studio and the extraordinary craft that continues to define every quilt we create.

Dreaming in color.

Our latest In Their Words interview brings us into the vibrant world of decorator and author Meg Braff Designs, whose work is as layered, warm, and joyful as she is. Featured here is The Guest House, a special project beautifully captured in her new book, Gracious Interiors.

We sat down with Meg about her affinity for Leontine, her flair for entertaining, and of course, how many pillows she has on her bed!

In celebration of this year’s Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York being underway, we’re looking back at a special moment from last year 💚

For her “Oscar’s Orchid Reverie” bedroom, Alexa Hampton drew inspiration from an Oscar de la Renta dress adorned with beaded and embroidered orchids. We were honored to contribute to the room’s layered scheme with custom green leaf appliqué detailing on the bedding.

Where the name Leontine comes from💜

When decided it was time to name her budding linens business, she pondered endlessly over the perfect name. It was her father who suggested Leontine Linens Limited — a name that was, quite literally, just a step outside her front door. Jane Scott and her husband Philip were then living in a cottage on Leontine Street in Uptown New Orleans.
