Yesterday’s Dulcet Tile event at Triton Stone was pretty amazing. Beautiful tile, an interesting presentation that brought me back to science class, and an impressive spread x w**e made for a good time.

I even won some gorgeous jewelry trays in the raffle, pictured! And walked away with two full swag bags. I checked out the slabs afterwards, obviously. I’m a sucker for quartzite 🖤

We cordially invite you to join us this Thursday, July 16th from 5:30–7pm at 2349 Laurel St. for the Beams & Brews hosted by Preservation Resource Center. Tour the home whilst it’s still under construction, and learn how Alexander Historic Renovations, cultivo_studio, and Chez Holliday Design are balancing history with modern living.

This Irish Channel craftsman-style double camelback sh***un is being thoughtfully transformed into a single-family home. See how original windows, doors, flooring, fireplaces, and reclaimed cypress elements are being preserved and incorporated into its next chapter, continuing the home’s architectural legacy.

The hotel we stayed at in Galveston for the Historic Homes tour is STUNNING.

Formerly Treasure Isle Motel, the property was resurrected and revamped to become Hotel Lucine.

The stunning renovation pays homage to its 1960’s/MCM roots with updates in all the right places. Check out the insane tile work and salt water pool!

We felt like we were in Palm Springs, not Galveston. 10/10 recommend 💪
