A little behind-the-scenes trip to one of my favorite places… and a little trip down memory lane, too!

Meet Michael, my flower guy extraordinaire! We actually met back in junior high when we were both in band… I played trumpet, he played trombone (go brass section!) and he’s been my sales rep pretty much since I started doing wedding flowers back in 2001.

Fun fact: my mom was actually his very first customer! How’s that for a full-circle story? 💕

I’m so grateful for good people like Mike who have been part of this flower journey for so many years. Now come take a peek inside his cooler… there are some pretty gorgeous blooms in there!

It’s been a couple of weeks but I am still over here swooning over Rachel and Curt’s gorgeous wedding flowers! Absolutely loved everything about creating these arrangements - from the color palette to the flower choices to the greenery and texture. And seriously… I couldn’t love these two cuties any more than I do! ❤️

Didn’t Dylan + Katie Photography do an awesome job with the photos??? This sneak peek has me dying to see more! If you are in need of a photographer for your upcoming wedding, event, or family photos, you will be in the best hands with this power duo!

Nothing beats fresh-cut flowers! 🌻

My niece Abbey and I got to sneak away from the workshop yesterday afternoon for a much-needed break to cut some more sunflowers for Rachel & Curt’s wedding tomorrow.

A huge thank you to Home Made by Virginia for welcoming us into her beautiful sunflower field! We met at the farmers market, and she is every bit as kind as she is talented. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to feature these gorgeous blooms in some of our designs.

I can’t wait to share the finished product with you all soon! 🤗

I have a helper in the workshop today! My niece Abbey is here all the way from GA and what do we do for fun?? We work on wedding flowers! 😆 Good thing she loves it too.

We are both super excited about all of the beautiful blooms we have in for TWO weddings this weekend! Stay tuned…

Look at this handful of sunshine! Oh my goodness, I could not have loved this bouquet I had the pleasure of creating for Elise last week any more than I did - seriously you guys! Swoon. 🌸☀️

If only sunshine and yummy smells could be shared here as well… those pink O’Hara garden roses were spectacular! Elise’s bouquets also featured creamy vendela roses, blush ranunculus, pink snapdragons, butter yellow stock, soft coral hypericum berries, and the cutest little yellow feverfew you’ve ever seen.

Simple, timeless, and full of texture! 🍃

White ranunculus, delicate lisianthus, olive branches, and seeded eucalyptus came together to create these classic boutonnières.

And we also got to create something special for a little furry friend to wear during the ceremony - check out that last picture. Can’t wait to get the pictures back and see Blake wearing her bling! 🥰

This was my office for the afternoon yesterday as I worked on estimates and flower orders. Tom and I used to go to Mojo’s Coffee Gallery when we lived in Minneapolis, and I hadn’t been there in about five years. It’s still as cute and delicious as I remember it! ☕️🤗
