Should you keep the old Jacuzzi tub? 🛁
Not always.
When remodeling a primary bath, consider replacing the bulky garden tub with a freestanding tub for a cleaner, more updated look — or removing the tub altogether and using the space for a larger shower, better storage, or a more open layout.
In many beach condos, a beautiful walk-in shower may have more buyer appeal than an oversized tub.
For single-family homes, I still like having at least one bathtub somewhere in the home — but it doesn’t have to be in the primary bath.
The goal isn’t to replace what was there. It’s to make the space feel better, function better, and appeal to today’s buyer.
