It’s been quite rainy here and well, life… I haven’t been able to get out into the gardens as much as I would like to and this morning while I walked the dog (in the rain) I only got into some of it. But my heart is happy and my babies are still thriving despite recent neglect!!

Here’s your reminder to prepare for the back to school flu!! You know, where all the little germ carriers unite at their annual convention, and then they bring home samples for the whole family…. also know as the first day of school 😜

Infused garlic and ginger honey packs a strong punch for both immunity and at the onset of symptoms. It’s so simple to make and will save you a late night drug store run later!

Simply fill a jar three quarters full with 2:1 organic peeled garlic cloves and chopped organic ginger (not peeled)… add a tsp of raw unfiltered ACV and fill with raw unfiltered honey.

Let it sit. Everyday turn to make sure everything is coated and for the first 2 weeks burp daily while it ferments.

And that’s it!

Daily Support: 1/2 - 1 tsp of the liquid honey, or a fermented garlic clove, may be included in the diet as a tonic for both immune support and reduced inflammation and oxidative stress in the body.

Support During Illness: a tbsp of the mixture is used at the first sign of a cold or sore throat.

Digestive Relief: Fermented ginger assists with gut motility, easing mild nausea, bloating, and overall digestion while the honey acts as a gentle prebiotic.
