It’s always a joy to help out in this way!

Wouldn’t it make you smile to receive this card in the mail? Here I used one of Beam’s metallics called Lake Superior. I used a clean brush with water to “paint” the petals, and then touched some color in just the right places for it to spread all over in that petal. After dry, I outlined - messy, I might say - the petals with a lovely acrylic ink. Again, after dry, I added the Beam metallic Wet Grizzly to the center! I do love what I do . . . can you tell??? My original cards, as is this one, are for sale at Inspired, Graze, The Grand Center for Arts and Culture, Bad Ass Beebout Bouquets, and New Ulm’s Own, as well as by just contacting me for a visit to my studio! They are all $5 each, and all profits are donated to either NUMAS Haus or the Ivy House. Happy Wednesday!

Here is a new acrylic painting that will be for sale at the Rotary-Ivy House Fundraiser on June 1, 2026, at the New Ulm Golf Course. It’s framed at 17”x21” and sells for $200. There is a lot of detail in this one, as you can see by the close up photos. I will be set up by 4 pm at the golf course. Stop by and check it out!!!

Had fun on Monday prepping 60 card fronts for painting!!! The kind of day when I say to my husband, “You don’t need to go in the basement, right?”. It’s where I do all my painting and they are down there drying!!! Wonder what I will come up with???? HAHA!!! Happy Wednesday!!!

Once again trying something new . . . I have three new card designs that include having the picture continued onto the back side, as you can see in these illustrations. For example, the first picture of the three red flowers is the front, and the picture of the two red flowers is the back side of the same card. The back side has my logo included in the reprint, so you can tell which is front and back on the next two examples, also!!! They are really nice, different, and fun to give.
